Deploy Data Guard in a R12 E-Business environment over a 10MB datalink

Hi...

I am looking at deploying Data Guard for our R12.1 E-Business suite
which is running on Linux Redhat v5.3 O/S 64 bit environment(env).

Our redo logs are composed of 5 groups with 2 members each.
The 11G database is v11.1.0.7 in archive mode and I use RMAN to take
backups once per day, however, RMAN is employed to purge archive
and redo logs to 2 days worth online.  Each redo is 50MB.  The remote
site is where I will clone Oracle R12 E-Bus as the Physical Standby site.
The data link between the primary and standby is only 10MB.

The primary R12 env is shutdown daily at 2 am until 6 am in order to
