The difference between FND_STANDARD_DATE_TIME and FND_STANDARD_DATETIME

 Hi ExpertsDoes anyone know the difference about the following two value set

FND_STANDARD_DATE_TIME
 FND_STANDARD_DATETIME

and when the value is saved in database,what control the format?
Do we have any document about it?
