Adding 2nd Legal Entity to single Set of Books and Single Operating Unit in e-Business Suite 11i

We are bringing a new legal entity into our Oracle EBS 11i environment. For a variety of reasons it has been decided to keep the new legal entity in the same set of books and the same operating unit.  I know we have to set up a separate balancing segment but do I need to set it up as a separate GRE/Legal Entity and if so, how do I go about this?
