ASM Failure groups

Hi,

ASM_PREFERRED_READ_FAILURE_GROUPS allows the asm instance in the RAC environment to "read" from its local disks (local failure group) rather than reading from remote disks.
How about "write" ? Could it allows to "write" to its local disks?
