Budget Account range assignment

Hi,

We have created a budget org and give an account range by indicating accounts low,high values.
After entering ranges and click on Range Assignment we have run "Program - Maintain Budget Organization", but it has not updated designated ranges to the budget org.
Please let us know what is the expected behaviour of range assignment function and any idea regarding why required accounts combinations are not updated in the range assignment.
