How to write-Off Accruals accounts??

Dear All,

While write off the Accruals, accounting is as given below:

Accrual                              Debit

       Offset                                           Credit

So here Offset account will always be there? Or you can just clear and knockoff this account as well??

As Offset is account is from IPV (Inventory Setup Account).
