VirtualBox - Error (FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.)

Am using windows 7 on 64bitAfter installing the virtualbox. to start the virtual machine, it throws this error and then would not start.
and from
system >> acceleration >>
I can see that Enable VT-x/AMD-V is checked.

VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled, but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot.

please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer.

how do i resolve this and get the virtual machine started.


I deleted and reinstall but now it brings up the linux image screen then displays below error:
