How to Add records to MVG/Associate.

Hi All,
I have a requirement.

In Opportunity we have MVG field  "Sale Team" where it will stored Position of current user. (LOGIN ID)
There is an another field Product Line Manager in "Admin Product Line " BC, which will store User Id.

Here we want to access "Product Line Manager" field value and wants to add record in "Sale Team" MVG.

Is there any Config/Scripting solution available to achieve it.

Please suggest.
