Couple questions about Gateway for SQL Server

I have been reading over the documentation for installing the Gateway for SQL Server, and I have a small bit of confusion surrounding where I should be installing it. We have an oracle 11.2.0.3 DB on AIX  and we are looking to talk to a SQL Server 2008r2 instance that is part of a Microsoft failover cluster.

Am I supposed to be installing the gateway software on both nodes of the failover cluster? or am I supposed to be installing it on the database server (AIX)

On a second note are there any issues with oracle gateway talking to databases on a clustered instance?
