RMAN backup using EMC networker backing up each file twice

Hi,

I have an 11g (11.2.0.2) database built on ASM (11.2.0.3) using ASM mirroring between two arrays.  Each night, we shut the database down, run EMC symrdf commands to synchronize my EMC mirror to RDF devices.  THe devices are then made available to my backup server.  The db is mounted and an rman backup is run to tape using EMC networker.  The db is just about 4.8 tb in size, but networker is reporting almost 9.6 t being backed up.  When querying the rman catalog, it shows the same. 

As a test, I ran rman directly against the primary database to disk and ran a similar query and it is showing each file only being backed up once.  Below are the queries used.
