How to Encrypt ASO/TCPS SQL Developer connections without an Oracle Client? Using thin JDBC or OCI
Anyone have the instructions on encrypting the connection for our programming staff using SQL DEVELOPER that don't have an Oracle client installed? I assume this is using the thin jdbc client.
All I am finding are oracle utility commands like orapki for managing the wallet on the client side which implies an oracle installation is required. Is there a setting/configuration change on SQL Developer side?
Does anyone have a piece of information or doc ID to look at.
thanks
