mandatory fields in bank setup

Hi All ,

We need to setup few supplier bank accounts for making Electronic payment . While setting up a bank account -header , branch I do not find any prompt to enter the bank and branch number but only requirment to enter the bank name and branch name . Is it not required to enter a bank number or branch number on the bank headers . In which case are these details required (mandatory).
