How to configure ASM disk group on Windows x64

I am installing the Grid Infrastructure on a Windows x64 server.  When attempting to create a diskgroup for ASM no disk are populated to add to the disk group using the OUI.  I am giving an option to change the discover path but I do not know what to unput.  I tried all of the obvious. 

I also tried to create the disk group from the command line using 'asmtool -create g:\ 495000'
I received the error: ASM-00001: could not open the device g:\
The system could not find the specified path

I see documentation on how to create an ASM diskgroup for Unix based OS but not much for Windows, particluarly around how to specifiy the disk discovery path.
