Qeustion on EBS patching when TDE is enabled

Hi,
Apps 12.1.3

I have an apps customer who has the following question.
Oracle EBS apps version 12.1.3

Question is regarding applying apps patches in relation to TDE
Oracle Application R12 Patches that may touch tables where TDE is enabled

Can you Please suggest If we have need to follow additional steps, while applying any Oracle Application R12 Patches that may touch tables where TDE is enabled.

This is a databae security product and have not found much in apps folders as it relates to patching.

They a security team and may not have exposure to apps.
