Long Lead time - Purchase items at MRP !

Hi,

Can anyone share your expertise on  'The best way for MRP to work for Long lead time purchase items'  ? Assume that a Mfg part is having a lead time of 10 days to manufacture and the component purchase part number has the lead time of 60 days to recieve from supplier ,what would be the best 'planning parameter set-up' will give proper OP order messages and WO messages  in advance.
