APP-PER-06839: Assignment changes exist between the old and new dates

 Hi All,

Would anyone know why I keep getting the following error message: APP-PER-06839: Assignment changes exist between the old and new dates
 when trying to End Date an Employee in the "Enter Person" form in Oracle Purchasing?

I know there is a similar issue in Oracle Human Resources - Version 12.1.2 to 12.2 [Release 12.1 to 12.2] PERWSEMP Updating Employee Record : APP-PER-06839: Assignment Changes Exist Between the old and new Dates (Doc ID 1422823.1) . However, I cannot use their recommended Solution
because we do not use the HR Module.
