adpatch preinstall=y option

VPC Team member opened this thread for the customer.


We are already in R12.1.3 in our Ebus environment and we need to apply the patch#16198333 to help us with performance issue. The patch README says to apply it in 'preinstall=y' option.

We do have Tax module version "R12.ZX.B.3" insatlled already. Can you please advise if it's ok to apply it in 'preinstall' mode even though we are already running R12.
