Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. GEOCODEs and VERTEX

Hi,

WE are on R12.1.3 and using Vertex for our taxing purposes. We have noticed one strange issue with GEOCODES.

We have an invoice for a customer. The invoice shows correct ship to and bill to.

The address on the customer was changed earlier. The tax inforamtion on the invoice also is correct. (state,city,county).

When we run the report from Vertex, it shows this invoice with the old address.

Vertex people told us that GEOCODE on the customer record is wrong. When we fixed the GEOCODE on the customer, everything was fine.

My question is when we change the address on the customer, shouldn' the GEOCODE also get updated correctly?
