Protect GI standalone with Veritas Cluster is it Certified?

Can some one give me the right answer for this question:

We need to implement the following Architecure:

1) Grid Infrastructure sandalone mode

2) ASM instance run on two nodes

3) Protect Database with VCS (Veritas Cluster):

In this case the Symantec documentation explain that we "faliover" the ASM Disk from one node to the other node ,in cas we need to run/failover Database to the other node.

So with this method, VCS dismount Diskgroup from one ASM instance, put all ASM Disk to the remaingin node, and start ASM on this node, and finally mount the Diskgroup on this ASM
