Patching Cluster 3.2 via an alternate boot environment
Hi all,
In the July 2013 CPU for Sun Products, I noticed there are patches this time around for Solaris Cluster 3.2 and 3.3. The admin guide says cluster patches need to be installed in single-user mode, out of cluster (-sx). My question is can the cluster patch be applied to an alternate boot environment instead. I have a co-worker who took the advanced 3.2 class say it can be done, but I'm unable to find documentation that says it is an acceptable method. If it IS possible, then I was going to attempt to patch the ABE with the cluster patch
