Using Containerization to stop double packing LPN's

We are currently running E-Business Suite R12.1, WMS. We do not have containerization enabled.

We are trying to understand if enabling containerization will stop our material handlers from double packing an LPN.

We typically have a pallet of bundled items coming off a line and the material handlers scan the LPN to pack and move to FG inventory.

Our current configuration allows them to scan the same LPN tag (they forget what they have done) more than once.

This results in an LPN that is double packed and consumes the available inventory for the remaining pallet(s) of a given job.
