Using desktop integrator, issues with excel 2007

has anyone else experienced issues with excel 2007 closing and not responding when opening up an adi spreadsheet? this has been happening to our users in the finance dept when uploading journals to our oracle system. we use the desktop integrator responsibility to create the document to be used in excel 2007. and all pc's are windows 7.
