Cycle Count Variances - for JDE 9.1

Is it possible to have the "quantity on hand" field  put on the Work With Count Form P4141? Or is there a way that when the  counted quantity is being entered (into the P4141 form) a validation can be done against the quantity on hand to show a variance exists? We would like to be able to start checking variances before the end of the Physical Inventory and enter the variances into JDE.  However, it could get messy if we keep printing out variance sheets for items that have already been recounted.
