Transactions Stuck in Receiving Transaction Statuses Summary

Hi Gurus,

We have 200+ records stuck in Receiving Transaction Status Summary which are related to one purchase order line. Error occurred due to GL Period is closed. When GL period is reopened Receipt has done successfully but the stuck transactions have not cleared.

I have few clarifications on this.

  1. How Oracle allowed to perform receipt when their are stuck transactions against it?
  2. If allowed why stuck transactions where not cleared.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
