Allocated ATP - Relating ATP Plan Exceptions to Allocations

We are currently evaluating and testing Allocated ATP and have found the following questions...Any help with these would be appreciated.

1. We have created Demand Classes with User Defined percentages, Allocation Rules and Allocation Assignments. We have run a CC ATP Plan.

The ATP plan generates exceptions that there is early replenishment for Sales Orders when there is supply available early. This seems to evaluate the incoming supply and the sales order and seems to ignore demand class.

We find that when we attempt to reschedule the sales order (using order backlog workbench)..the order will reschedule but this is all based on the allocations available to the customer demand class.
