RMA Receiving Error APP-PO-15566 Quantity Entered 5 is greater than Quantity Available - 12 for this

We are on 12.1.3 and when trying to deliver some RMA for lot controlled items we are getitng an error "APP-PO-15566 Quantity Entered 5 is greater than Quantity Available - 12 for this Lot SL026 in the RMA"

Would you know what would be causing this.The RMA is for 50 and we were able to deliver is partially and when trying to deliver the rest of the quantity we get this error when selecting the Lot# from the LOV and clicking done to complete the transaction

There are some metalink notes talking about a patch for this but is this something that can be manually worked around?This RMA is refernced to the original SO that was shipped.
