Auto Complete not working with Chrome

Users are complaining that they miss the IE functionality in E1 to auto complete - that is show a list of  previously entered values in a field as the user is typing in the field.

Is there a way to make this work with Chrome?   The client I am working with has chosen not to upgrade IE, and will have to use Chrome for their 9.1  upgrade.
