Seeded Oracle Item Templates. Is it ok to delete these so that they do not show up in the list of va

Our Item Master team has asked if we can remove the  list of standard Oracle Item templates that show up in the list of values when selecting a template to apply to a new item. They only use 3 of the templates, but because a list of them show up, they occatioanlly select the wrong one and the attribute values are not applied to the item.
I have checked and there is no "disable" or "effectivity dates" as part of the template definition. I was able to delete the template; which removed it from the list, just wanted to check out with the Inventory community to see if they see any issue or concern with this.
