Using Asset Upload Excel to CI with multiple currencies

Does anyone have experience using the AM asset addition excel to CI template to upload assets denominated in mulitple currencies?

I am trying to upload assets to AM using the standard load template and the excel to CI tool.  Some assets being loaded are denominated in USD and others are denominated in PHP.  The AMBU the assets are being loaded to has a primary corporate book with a PHP base currency and a secondary corporate book denominated in USD.  In the upload template, I am not defaulting values from the asset profiles.

I want the upload process to calculate the appropriate base currency amount for each book based on currency exchange rates stored in the system and on the transaction amount and currency that I enter for the main book (whose base currency is PHP).  This is not working out...
