Mail notifications for database status

 Dear experts,

I have 4 11gR2 database on oracle enterprise linux 5.5.  I want a mail notifications if listener is down, if database is down, if there are any ORA errors in alert log file etc for all my  databases.

Please help me out to configure mail for notifications.  I would appreciate if you give guide me how to achieve this.
