Loyalty Integration with External Portal

Hi All,
  We are in the process of implementing Loyalty engine to one of our client, and the client is on 8.1.1.9 and has some external portals which allows customers to login and check points, do some redemption activities etc.., 

Client doesnt want to retire the external portals, but would like Loyalty Engine to process accruals and redemption requests from the external portal and have the data exchanged smoothly. Can some one point out the web services which has to be exposed to the external portal so that the data transfer can happen along with points.
