is there a API to fetch functional currency in a MOAC enabled PL/SQL program?

I have a PL/SQL AR extract which lists open  invoices credit memo's and receipts . i have it enabled for MOAC , So that i do not have to hardcode org, but i have a requirement that only those transactions have to be retrieved which are in the functional currency for each org.

so if a org/company has functional currency USD, but has transactions in YEN , EUR  as well in addition to USD, then i have to exclude YEN , EUR and only fetch USD transactions.

 i was wondering if there was a API to get functional currency for each org/ledger, which i could use in the where condition to restrict the currencies .
