Ending support for some storage devices on SAM-QFS 5.4
Hi everyone,
I just want to give you a heads up that we will end support for some
storage devices when SAM-QFS 5.4 is released. However, we will not make
changes to the code until 5.5. So if you are using any of these devices
they will still work with 5.4.
The items we are ending support on are very old and in many cases are no longer serviced by their manufacturers, so we don't have the ability to re-qualify them. We are also in the process of qualifying newer 3rd party storage devices with SAM. We will update the WWWW as these qualification efforts are completed this fall.
