Can we merge two operating units into one in oracle EBS R12 ?

 Hi,     We have requirement to merge the two operating units into one .We are using the second operating unit for only account payable module.Now the business wants to merge two operating units.Can any one please let me know If it is possible to merge them ?If yes,Can you share some knowledge on how to proceed with this process.?
