Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Confused about Supplier Bank Account Masking - AR: Mask Bank Account Numbers profile VS System Secur

Hi,

I have setup the System Security Options to Mask the External Bank Accounts choosing 'Numbers of Digits to Display 2'

But I found in Metalink that the profile AR: Mask Bank Account Numbers controls the masking and the options are:

- Mask - Last Four Digits Visible

- Mask - Last Four Digits Visible

- No Masking

We setup this profile for out responsibility with the value '- Mask - Last Four Digits Visible'

So, my question is, when I go to check the Supplier Bank Account will I see 2 digits or 4 displayed? Why we have to places to setup this options?
