getting a guest ldom to single user mode

Hi, using OC update 4 on solaris 11.1.  Had a situation the other day where a misconfiguration on my part caused a guest ldom to hand on boot (it eventualy timed out on the issue and booted after several hours).  My question is - What is the best way using OC or the command line to get the ldom to single user mode.  My autoboot is set to true, as far as I know there is no way to change this with OC.
