Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hello everyone,

I need to create a custom update transaction program for Oracle Account Receivables (from staging to base table).

My questions are:

1) Is there any update transaction API that I can use for the update transaction?
2) What is the difference between direct update and API?
