Solaris 10U10: useradd name too long

Hi all,
while creating with useradd a user with more then 8 characters name I get this error:

UX: /usr/sbin/useradd: user12345 name too long


Despite the error the user is created and it seems to work correctly.

What this error actually means? And what should i set to have s10 to enable 9  characters long user name (if possible)?
