Crew Scheduling functionality

Has anyone worked on Crew Scheduling functionality? Does it work properly? I am using a R12.1.3 Vision instance and seem to be facing lot of issues. Sometimes it does not list the employees and associated work orders. When it displayed, tried to update a work order's operation duration and message shows as successful update of the work order, nothing changed in the operation. Tried to go back to the crew schedule page using return to crew schedule link and it takes to a fresh query page, ignoring the search criterion used in previous step.
