Adding timestamps to logfiles in rman when using EMC Networker Integration and paging upon failure

Hi,

We are configuring rman to write to SBT using EMC Networker.  Because Networker doesn't use a shell script, I can't get the output logfile to append a timestamp based upon any env variables.  Is there any way to accompllish this?  Is there something that can be put in the Networker config file?

Also, is there anyway to setup alerting when a backup fails through the script called?  Or does that need to be managed from the networker console?

Thanks for any recommendations!
