Compatibility question

Hello

Can anybody tell me if the BI Publisher Desktop for Word version 11.1.1.7 is compatible with BI Publisher server version 10.1.3.4.2?  I have heard conflicting information about this.  We are running the v10 with a Siebel v8.1.1.9 implementation and cannot upgrade to BIP v11 because it is not supported with Siebel yet.  I would really like to use the BI Publisher Desktop v11 if possible because it is a much better UI.
