Benefits of Implementing the Item Master

Hi All

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who implemented the Item Master and what their experience was.  The good, bad and ugly.  Any pitfalls that I should anticipate and any unforeseen benefits.  Do the benefits outweigh the negatives? 

What do you use it for?

What interfaces are you able to access (Parts List, Requisition Self Service, WO Details?) through the implementation?

Let me know your thoughts.  I'm embarking on this journey and I would like to go into it with at least some insight from folks who have already been down the path.
