Info Template attribute not updating attribute table when Continue button clicked

Responsiblity: Oracle iProcurement

Issue: Information Template attribute associated with Smart Form. When user is going throught the checkout process of Purchase requsition and edits a PR line, user has ability to update Info Template attribute by clicking the Special Informatio hyberlink. After clicking the hyperlink and going to the Info Template, if an attribute change is made and user click's continue, the attribute value is not saved to the attribute table. I am attempting to do validation against the Info Template attribute value, but my validation is being bypassed because the new value is not recognized until PR is saved. Is it possible
