awr error in 2 node rac

while I am genearating  the AWR report for node 1 and node 2 i am getting below error.Below error shows that the Instance is down,If the Instance is down why oracle is showing the snapshot ids.Please let me know on this.

ORA-20200: The instance was shutdown between snapshots 394 and 422
ORA-06512: at line 42

version is 11.2..0.3

Also when I took the report of some other day,the report is generating but the report is blank with no values.(empty).Please let me know the reason.(can see enough free space in SYSAUX).
