Changing warehouse location format in existing branch
Hi everyone,
I'd like to change the format of locations in one existing branch.
My current setting is: 1-2-3
My exiting locations are all: 1-2- format
However I will need new locations with more characters (1-2-3-3-2 format).
I tried to follow
1- Above document mentions that this procedure can only be used to change format without changing length, while warning message in P41001 mentions only that some information may be lost if new format is smaller than previous one. Which one should I trust?
2- I tried to test the process to see the result
