Oracle-agent12cR1ProcessManager installated on 32-bit windows. Is it

I got a question regarding the installation of GC12C Agent v12.1.0.2 32-bit on Windows machines

On 32-bit systems the unattended installer installs the service Oracle-agent12cR1ProcessManager next to the Oracleagent12cR1Agent.
It's not directly activated, but has the status automatic.
It's command is d:\oracle\oem\agent121\core\12.1.0.2.0\opmn\bin\opmn.exe -S

Is this service needed for correct functioning of the Agent software on 32-bit systems?
On 64-bit systems it doesn't appear to be installed.
