Oracle VM Manager for SPARC: transitioning from NIU hybrid I/O to SR-IOV

Now that NIU hybrid I/O is deprecated in favour of SR-IOV and it finally seems that a LDOM guest using SR-IOV functions is migratable: Are there any pointers/papers whatsoever describing best practices for the transitioning from NIU to SR-IOV ? I could not find anything about this in the LDOM v3.1 docs
