PO Distribution still holds WIP_ENTITY_ID when changed from Shop Floor to Expense

Hi experts,
I want to know the following:

When a Purchase Order Distribution (Destination Type) is changed from Shop Floor to Expense,and if the work order reference (wip_entity_id) should be removed from the distribution record.if not,should I do?
