Primary to Secondary Ledger Mapping posting to different periods

We have set upped the Primary book using monthly calendar and also we have secondary book also with monthly calendar. During posting we face with warning and Error31. Because for testing purposes we have closed periods till may-13 in secondary book. And we created invoice for 01.03.2013 and run create accounting for this invoice. After that run transfer to GL with date 30.06.2013. I expected that this invoice will be posted in Primary book in March-2013 and in Secondary book for Jun-13 as june is the open period for secondary book. Please advice if this scenario is possible for this
