WMS implement for LPN - anyone done it?

We are a discrete manufacturing company.  We are lot controlled and we use MSCA for transacting inventory/wip/shipping.  We are evaluating LPN as a means to prevent overscans.  Anyone with experience or knowledge - please share.  We need to know exactly what it would take to fully implement WMS for the purpose of using LPN's
